Devon
The Town of Devon is an idyllic little town on the banks of the North Saskatchewan river just southwest of Edmonton. It is famous for its proximity to Leduc #1 Well where they first discovered oil in the area back in 1947. The town annexed land on the west side of the highway but little has been done there and consequently there are currently plans to annex land to the east to be closer to the lands City of Edmonton are annexing as this is where future development lies.
